I haven't posted anything in a while, I know. One reason for that is that I am now home, and the people who drive me to update this already know what I am doing with my time.

Earlier this term I did a presentation on moustaches for my Decorated
Body class. One of the more fun aspects of this project was the fact
that I made false "opera moustaches" on sticks for everyone in the class
(and a few lucky people not in the class). Here's my friend Brittany

For my latest printmaking project I am creating band posters for a number of fake bands that are set to play at an imaginary concert hall called [a]venue within the next few months. Here's one of my favorites so far:

I got my button machine last week, and since then I have been pinning up a storm! Here's a pile of buttons I made out of old comic books:
I'm really having fun making these things out of random paper goods, so if anyone has any old maps or comics or anything, I'd be happy to take them in exchange for some pins...
And now, a story:
Before I lived in Portland, I would visit. And seemingly every time I visited, people gave me food. In restaurants, in cafes, at concerts... I got food. For free. It was awesome. Now that I live here, that doesn't happen so much... but I did just score my third $3 pint of Ben & Jerry's (unexpectedly, thanks to a coupon the cashier had). So there's that.
